WHO WE ARE

We are a collective of residents, medical students, and future physicians who know firsthand what it means to walk an uphill path — and what it takes to climb it. Each of us arrived at this point because of a village: mentors who made space, families who sacrificed, and peers who pulled us forward. The Doctors of Color Consortium (D.O.C.C.) was born from our shared story — a desire to grow that village, connect across generations, and make sure the next student doesn't have to walk alone. We're here to light the path, open the doors, and keep the promise: We rise by lifting others.
